I started Tandem Creative Consulting because I kept seeing the same problem: strategy and creativity were treated like separate skill sets, passed between teams who rarely spoke the same language. This caused a lack cohesion, depth and purpose.
My work lives in the middle space where clarity meets expression. I help people understand the real story behind what they want to build, and then I help them communicate that story in a way that feels intentional and honest. I listen first, analyze deeply, and translate what I hear into strategy, narrative, and design that align with who they are and what they’re aiming to achieve.
Once the idea is clear, I use my background in photography, graphic, web design and videography to bring the work to life. I do not believe in separating the plan from the creation. When we work together, we move in tandem from the first conversation to the final product.
Before I created Tandem, I realized something important about how I work: my perspective comes from two very different paths that inform each other. One is strategic, shaped by my career path and work. The other is creative, shaped by my art and music background. Both sides matter, and both show up in everything I build.
While I am still refining my approach, my career has strengthened the strategic side of how I work. At Apple, I learned to break complexity down to its core and design with intention. At Indeed, I led initiatives that required deep analysis, pattern recognition, and the ability to turn data into narratives teams could act on, and quickly. Those experiences shaped the way I approach every project: clear, structured, decisive, and grounded in impact.
The creative side however, comes from my background in music and art. Playing the piano for 17 years and getting an education in New Media and Design taught me how to feel an idea, not just understand it. It gave me the instincts, imagination, and hands-on skill to bring concepts to life through photography, design, web work, and video. It is the reason I can execute, not just ideate.
Today, I combine those experiences into a consulting practice built on clarity, intention, and partnership. I help clients express ideas they have struggled to articulate, uncover meaning in their data, and build creative work that reflects who they are with precision and depth.
Tandem exists because the best results come from working side by side, not handing work off and hoping it lands. I’m here to be your partner in the process: steady, direct, and fully committed to the outcome.
Two disciplines. One vision. Moving in tandem.
